As part of their work applying the oblique function to the dwelling and the city, Inclisite constitutes the basic module of the oblique dwelling, capable of being adapted to different forms of the city. This “sloped site” is made up of hexagonal pods assembled together and linked to each other by a system of interior and exterior ramps. In oblique cities, the vista towards the sky from the ground is achieved by a series of stairways and terraces. A system of ramps creates urban continuity along which the dwellings and pathways are staggered. These are linked by what Parent and Virilio call a “recovery threshold”, i.e. a horizontal element linking two inclined surfaces.
