A graduate and then professor at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, architect Damjan Jovanovic now lives in Los Angeles where he teaches at SCI-Arc. His research explores the cultural effects of software in the field of architecture, but also the question of authorship, through the development of applications for non-standard architectural design. His works and writings have been published in AD Magazine, Form, CLOG, Offramp, and SAC Journal. Damjan Jovanovic won the AIV 2014 Prize for the best doctoral project of the Städelschule Architecture Class, as well as the DAAD 2013–2014 Grant (German Academic Exchange).
