Where the city can't see, 2017

The film takes place in the near future, in the heart of the economic sector of Detroit, now under the control of China. The sector is seen through the scanning eyes of robots and self-driving cars. They show a group of young factory workers riding through Detroit on a self-driving taxi, looking for a place their vehicle cannot identify. The pirate group explores the city by night to find secret spaces, using digital camouflage and tribal masks to avoid facial recognition.

This work was created to be part of the collective installation  "The Architectural Beast" (2019) curated by Hernan Diaz Alonso.
